जानें रविदास मंदिर का इतिहास   More Information 1 मार्च 1509  दिल्ली के तत्कालीन सुल्तान सिंकदर लोधी ने जमीन का एक टुकड़ा गुरु रविदास को दान किया।  1509  गुरु रविदास के समर्थकों द्वारा जमीन पर एक तालाब और एक आश्रम बनाया गया।  1949-1954  गुरु रविदास के समर्थकों ने गुरु रविदास जयंती समारोह समिति के अंतर्गत वहां एक मंदिर का निर्माण किया।  1959  तत्कालीन रेलवे मंत्री बाबू जगजीवन राम ने इस मंदिर का उद्घाटन किया।  9 अगस्त 2019  सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि गुरु रविदास जयंती समारोह समिति ने शीर्ष अदालत के आदेश के बावजूद जंगली इलाके को खाली नहीं करके गंभीर उल्लंघन किया है। गुरु रविदास जयंती समारोह समिति बनाम यूनियन ऑफ इंडिया के बीच सुप्रीम कोर्ट में केस में सर्वोच्च अदालत ने डीडीए से 10 अगस्त तक वहां से निर्माण को हटाने का आदेश दिया था।  10 अगस्त 2019  डीडीए ने निर्माण को हटाया।  12 अगस्त 2019  आप के सीनियर लीडर और दिल्ली के समाज कल्याण मंत्री राजेंद्र पाल गौतम ने प्रधानमंत्री को लिखे पत्र में कहा है कि देश में करोड़ों लो...

Avinash Chander is an Indian politician and belongs to the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal. He is a member of Punjab Legislative Assembly and represents Phillaur. He is also the chief parliamentary secretary for Higher Education & Languages department.  Chander was first elected to Punjab Legislative Assembly from Kartarpur in 2007. In 2012, he successfully contested from the new constituency Phillaur.  His father's name is Mool Raj. His grandfather's name is Seth Kishan Dass ( politician, dalit activist, social reformer) Seth Kishan Dass was a leather trader, propagator of the Ad-Dharm movement, and a politician.  Seth Kishan Dass was born into a Chamar family of Punjab. He traveled to Calcutta and started working there in leather factories. After, some experience he invested in a leather tanning and trading business that flew away.  This is perhaps the first road outside India named after Shri Guru Ravidass Ji. This road is leading to Shri Guru Ravidass Bhavan (worshiping place) in Bedford, UK. The dispute between the Guru Ravidass Community Center and the local council was resolved last week. The conception of secular state is derived from the liberal democratic tradition of west. No institution which is maintained wholly out of state funds shall be used for the purpose of religious instruction irrespective of the question whether the religious instruction is given by the state or any other body. If you ask me, my ideal would be the society based on liberty, equality and fraternity.
